So anyway, North American stock markets dropped because of Greece or the full moon (I'm not sure which). Anybody buy anything? I did.

None of the companies in my portfolio care about any of the reasons given for the recent market turmoil. No brainer.

I hope more fear comes out to give me cheaper prices. This is too easy.

Did you buy some more yesterday?

Coincidentally did.

The problem I face is that the U.S. markets are collapsing, but my stocks are still holding up so I can't get what I want on the cheap.

2010 YTD
S&P -5.6%
DOW -5.4
NASDAQ -4.3%
S&P/TSX -3.5%

I've bought a few shares here and there, but I'm still hoping for one of my holdings to collapse. My YTD return is still north of 15%.

I would LOVE to buy more COLM, BKE or FOSL. Here's hoping that they show a double digit collapse soon.

To make it even more difficult to get these companies on the cheap, the CAD has fallen from parity to almost 92 cents against the USD.

And for those who care; the key to investing successfully isn't to make the highest return possible, but to ensure that you have more 'wins' than 'losses' (including fees, taxes, commissions, etc.) over a long long period of time. In 2010 I look forward to crushing the market in 10 of the last 13 years.

Just be patient Rickson, many shares are overpriced now, and there'll be better entry points, hopefully soon.

2010 was an awesome year for those who took advantage of the bad press.
