Is HST affecting your spending? I for one, haven't changed my spending habits and I don't think most people in Ontario and BC have problems with HST.

I'm not affected that much, however I think that the average Canadian residing in BC or Ontario has big problems with HST. Just look at how indebted Canadians are and now they have to pay even more for all services.

However I believe that consumer taxes are much better than income taxes.

I haven't changed my overall spending so far. What worries me though is the possibility for future tax increases :(.

I also think that there will be tax increases soon, and this is a very bad thing. The Canadian economy is still very weak, and it will get a lot weaker with the housing crash, which is just starting...
