Is it true that you can get every year free credit report? What credit report agency allows that? Can I do that online?

Yes, you are entitled to 1 free credit report from all credit bureaus in Canada. All 3 major credit bureaus in Canada - Equifax Canada, Trans Union Canada and Northern Credit Bureaus. However I don't think you'll be able to do that online for free.
