I have been working for a while and have a bit of money saved, but work has slowed down and in the meantime of getting another job I want to put my money to work. I am with TD right now and my money is just sitting there making virtually no money. So what can I do to get my money to start accumulating more and more money. I don't need the money for anything so I don't mind using that to buy something that cannot be cashed in for a couple years. I live in Ontario so please suggest things that are effective in Ontario.
Thanks

Spend time learning how to read and interpret financial statements. Then you will be able to know what to invest in. 99% of individuals won't bother - so they go nowhere.

I am financial and investment analyst and after many years of research and education I have chosen Canadian premium and proof coins versus bars, bricks, jewellery, precious stones, stamps, paintings, real estate, ... :)
Physical gold and silver coins under 24/7 own control and possession is the answer! Taxation is the most important aspect for me. In Ontario gold bullion comes only with PST. I do not recommend you to buy bullion at places where you have to show a photo ID or credit card. It is mandatory cash and carry business. For gold’s sake do not forget the poor silver guy. I would say 50%-50% gold-silver but it is different question.
It is common knowledge that the current economic system crash is over due (not only the stock market). At last but not at least the gold and silver bullion is already in high demand. You know the supply and DEMAND thing and what could expect? Soon they will lose control over the gold pricing.
Gold luck and do not miss the last luncheon car. The gold fever is on at the government and huge investor’s level. I have to admit that you are above the average John Dow. When the fever goes to the average John Dow’s level the paper game is over.
