Laws on risk management and provisions for loan losses
Hello!
I am new here. I worked for a risk management department of an international bank (a branch in Russia). There they use internal country regulations on how to evaluate and manage risks, and create provisions for loan losses. The acronym for the key law there is 254-P. Currently I'm taking a course from the Institute of Canadian Bankers on the Bank Financial Risk Management. However, so far I haven't found any link to some major Canadian law on risk management for banks or creation of provisions/reserves for losses from loans. I'm sure there should be such laws. Could you tell me the exact names and abbreviations for these please? I hope my Google search will be more successful once I know the names. Thank you. Last edited by kguay; 01-12-2010 at 05:35 AM. |
