lower my credit card interest?
Hi there, is there a way to lower my credit card interest? It is currently 18% and I think it is too high.

If you are unable to pay off your credit card bills, then talk to your credit card company and try to negotiate a lower rate. They might prefer to lower the interest rate your paying on your outstanding credit card balance, versus you defaulting on the debt.

Yes, you can do that by calling the credit card company. You have to be an excellent customer though. You have to pay your balance in full and on time to be considered for lowering the interest.

A friend of mine did that, and they lowered his credit card interest from 18.25% to 15%. It's not that much, be it's still something.
