I took a personal loan in the past and I'm still paying it. The truth is that I will need another loan soon, because i can't pay off my credit card bills...

I have a car loan but that's it. I'm waiting for the Toronto's real estate market to crash badly and only after that I'll be getting another loan - a small mortgage .

It looks like most of us have taken a loan at least once. In our modern society this is almost inevitable.

I don't think that there are many people in our consumer society that haven't taken a loan at least once. That's the trouble with most people, they think that if somebody gives them a loan to buy something they can actually afford it. Just look at the souring real estate in the US, this is what happens here in Canada next.

There is nothing wrong in taking a loan if you can pay it back. People need money all the time - new furniture, vacation loans, car loans, even plastic surgery loans. The trick is to be able to pay it back without major sacrifices

That's easy to say for somebody that doesn't have debt. Majority of Canadians carry serious debt burdens and it's not that easy getting rid of the debt accumulated for so many years.
