Default Paying Your Mortage Off

So what happens when you finally make that last mortgage payment? Other than the obvious (more cash in your pocket ) What I'm asking is, do you get the title in your name mailed to you? Statement from the bank? etc...

If I remember correctly (and that's a stretch), I had to request title to my property. With regards to bank statements, I must have stopped getting them because I don't see any related to the mortgage any more.
