The TREB hasn't released the Toronto housing sales numbers for Dec 2008, and today is already 9th of January. They have never been so late with their monthly release. I guess the numbers are terrifying and they are out of ideas how to put a positive spin on this. Everybody is expecting a strong spring real estate market, but when there is none, the prices will crash with breathtaking speed. I won't be surprised to see 20% decline in Toronto by year end.

I guess they'll release the numbers today.

They actually release the Toronto sales numbers last Friday afternoon, trying to bury the data at the end of the week. Whatever they do, they cannot stop the decline of the overpriced Toronto's real estate market.
