Canadian job losses mounting in February
StatsCan has release their Labour Force Survey for February and the numbers aren't pretty.
Canada lost 83,000 jobs in February pushing the unemployment rate to 7.7%. Canada lost 111,000 full-time positions (so much for job security) while part-time employment increased slightly. The largest declines were in the 3 most economically important Canadian provinces - Ontario (35,000), Alberta (24,000) and Quebec (18,000). http://www.statcan.gc.ca/subjects-su...fs-epa-eng.htm
