Do you have a Canadian brokerage account?

If you don't have a Canadian brokerage account, just open one. Of course this assumes that you are still a Canadian citizen.

I wouldn't invest right now - the markets are so shaky. You can lose a lot of money in no time. I am not much of an investor myself but I already lost money and I decided to wait until the markets cool down a little.

Waiting out the panic to recede seems like a smart idea at the moment. I've stopped poring money into the markets, and I won't return until I see a meaningful recovery, which might take years the way the things look.
